Parents of Confirmation students:
How exciting that your child is going to be completing their initation into the church, which started when they were baptized! Amidst the tumltuous uncertainty and anxiety of the world, the sacraments are direct contact with Jesus Christ! They are the anchors we so desparately need tap into the life of grace so that we can navigate our life on earth. So even in difficulties, let us rejoice in hope and trust; for God is faithful forever!
Sacramental preparation is meant to be supplemental to our Family Faith Formation program. However, for high schoolers, we do not offer a specific curriculum. Instead, we offer an opportunity for your child to participate in our weekly youth ministry. Youth ministry is NOT a requirement for your child to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, but it is a good way for your child to live out their faith with other students their age. In youth group we spend time in discussion, prayer, learning, eating dinner, and games - all within a much more relaxed setting than a classroom.
So, to register your child to prepare to receive Confirmation, we ask that you register for our Family Faith Formation program and mark that you are also signing your child up for Confirmation preparation. Registration and the Liability/Waiver can be found here:
